What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. They are used for authentication, preferences, statistics and (sometimes) advertising tracking.

We do not use Hotjar, Meta Pixel, Google Ads, X (Twitter), TikTok, LinkedIn Insight, or any other marketing/retargeting pixels on the marketing site.
Why there is no consent banner
Under ePrivacy Directive Art. 5(3) and Romanian Law 506/2004 (the national transposition), consent is required only for non-strictly-necessary cookies. On our site:
- Plausible sets no cookies and uses no persistent identifier. (Source: plausible.io/blog/cookie-consent-banners)
- The Turnstile cookie is strictly necessary for form security (anti-bot).
- Supabase Auth cookies live on a separate domain (
app.nodex.nodera.ro) and are strictly necessary for authentication.
This posture is aligned with ANSPDCP guidance. For context, ANSPDCP sanctioned several operators in 2025–2026 for placing non-essential cookies without consent (Tensa Art Design — lensa.ro: RON 101,794 / EUR 20,000 fine; Lenjeria Magică SRL: RON 15,000; There's an AI for that SRL: RON 30,000). Nodex does not fall into that category because we do not use such cookies on the marketing site.
How to manage cookies
You can delete or block cookies via your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, etc.). Blocking the Turnstile cookie will prevent waitlist form submission. Modern browsers send a Do Not Track (DNT) header; Plausible honors it automatically.
